My unconditional love towards animals have brought me to volunteer as a photographer at Humane Society Silicon Valley. Just this past weekend they had the open house of the 4.8-acre new site in Milpitas, a $25 million project featuring numerous state-of-the-art facilities geared towards building a supportive community for animals and their families. Imagine bringing your dog to the dog park where an animal medical center, a pet store, grooming facility, an education center and a doggie daycare are all available on site. And, what's better than enjoying an afternoon out at a pet-friendly cafe? Because of all these innovative ideas, animals that are available for adoption there will have a higher chance to find their forever homes. What a dream in true silicon valley style... and it's happening.
