Winter Hike at Virgin River Narrows

Waterfall in still motion... rocks in snow caps... smoothly carved sandstones.
Water does its wonders.

On the frozen ground, where the hike begins.




The river is the trail.

A frozen waterfall.

The deeper one goes down the trail, the narrower and darker it becomes.

In wilderness I sense the miracle of life.

P.S. Thanks Steven for his company and support to my crazy act. Who on earth would enjoy hiking in icy cold water for hours in the midst of winter? Yet it was a perfect getaway.
